アメリカでは看護師の需要が高い。老齢人口が増えると共に自宅での介護にたずさわる看護師も必要となってきているようだ。資格をもつ看護師は時給の良い仕事に就ける場合が多いようだ。個人的な考えでは、アメリカでは看護師になる為の理系の勉強が得意な人が少ないのではないかな等とも思う。さらには特に授業料がリーズナブルな公立の短大(Community College)ではかなり人気の高いコースで、必修授業を履修するにもWaitingリストに入って何セメスターも待たなければならなかったりするらしい。

大学によってTransferを認めるポリシーは違うので、かならずカウンセラーに相談してから受験を考えましょう。

ショパン ノクターン遺作 嬰ハ短調
この曲に対する最初の私の印象は、「何て暗いんだろう」というもので、正直あまり好きでありませんでした。車の中でいつも巨匠の中村紘子さんのショパンのアルバムを聞いていたのですが、これが流れてくるとフォワードして他の曲を聞くようにしていました。。。おそらく前後のアップテンポの曲の中にあって重すぎる印象だったのでしょうか。
それなのに、この曲のイメージが私の中で大分変ったのは管野美穂さんの演じるフジ子・ヘミングの軌跡というドラマの中でフジ子が盲目の老人の為にこの曲を弾くシーンで感動した時でした。この曲に関しては私にはフジ子さんの弾き方が聞きやすいかったようです。理由はたぶんゆっくり目なのだけれど、かと言って重くなりすぎず、少し明るさも出していて癒される音だなと思いました。
Wikipediaによると「ドラマの放送後、番組内で使用された数枚のCDの売上が急上昇して更に100万枚以上売り上げ、2枚がチャートインした。」そうで、演奏家の背後にあるドラマを知ると演奏が味わい深くなるということもあるのでしょうか。何人か他の色々な人の弾くのを聞いてみました。早めのテンポで演奏している方もいましたが、この曲に関しては早すぎず、暗くなりすぎない方が味がでる気がします。

もともとは電卓で有名なカシオですが、電子ピアノの市場シェアはなかなかです。
友人のプロのピアノの先生も電子ピアノならCasioのPriviaを薦めると言っていました。（CASIO MODELS: CDP, CELVIANO, PRIVIA）
私は以前にCASIOのCDPモデルの一つを使っていましたが、シンプルにできるだけ生のピアノに近いピアノを弾きたいというニーズにはコスパ的にも十分満足でした。タッチに重みがあって、音の強弱も付けられ、急に生のピアノを触る機会があっても重さの違いで指が沈まないとか焦ることもなかったです。
